Telunas’ design is inspired by local Melayu architecture and boasts facilities built entirely over water. Located in a secluded cove surrounded by jungle and sea, we believe you’ll find our facilities to offer a unique and simple escape for your romantic getaway, family or group.

- There are approximately 1200 wooden and 91 concrete pylons (tongkat) supporting Telunas!
- Telunas Beach Resort is located at 103.46o E, 0.47o N. The name “Telunas” was taken from the island just across from our resort (Telunas Island). Our resort actually is on the large island of Sugi.
- Since the inception of Telunas Beach we have been washing all linens by hand and line drying.
- Wildlife such as mackerel, hawks, eagles, King Fishers, Grey-back Monkeys and Butterfly Fish can be regularly seen at our resort. Other less common creatures spotted at Telunas have included sea otters, flying fish, sand sharks and pink dolphins.
